Playa El Castillo is the nearest beach to Araya that stretches from the southern outskirts of town to the Real Fortress at its southern end.
These kids were selling one of the most typical souvenirs from the Arayan peninsula, a pyramid-shaped carved stone from the salt ponds nearby.
